Goodness!  It's been a while!  Well, we made it through 2020 without a case of Covid with the Yayas.  Jack, Sally and myself were vaccinated at the Will Co Health Dept - March 30 , 2021 being the second dose of our Pfizer vaccine.  A huge thank you to CCR&R for arranging that for all home childcare providers.  

We also moved to Racine Lane in August of 2020.  We LOVE it!  Jack was remote learning for UIC most all of 2020.  He helped with virtual learning for 2 of our school-agers.  Jack also completed assisting in the classroom for VVSD summer school .  He really enjoyed it and also got more experience for his Education major.  

We are plowing through the summer with our usual schedule. We hit the park most every day and enjoy our morning snack outside.  

We are looking forward to Fall and a new curriculum we are trying.  We've got 3 openings - so if you know anyone who would like to join us, pass our name along.  

Start of a new week and we start school on Wednesday of this week.  I'm usually ready for school to begin - but not this year.  Summer just went too fast.  We did have a wonderful summer.  We went to the park almost every day and did projects and made forts, played water guns, baseball, basketball and even a little hockey.  ;-) 
  After Wednesday our days will be a little different.  I'm left with a couple of little ones under 2.  I think we'll have a lot of pointing out words - work on vocabulary. 

Well, school is almost upon us.  Our School-aged Yayas are getting ready for another year.  We've had a fun summer.  We've visited a park almost everyday.  We've played about 100 games of basketball, a couple games of hockey,   too many games of cherry bomb to count and of course the usual water balloons and squirt guns.  We even tried out our own version of Fortnite in real life this year.
    So now we're looking for 2 or 3 new friends to come play with us this fall.
